By the time all production ceased within 18 months for the Sport Spider; there were only 60 RHD originally made for UK road use & 540 LHD for European road use. A number were built & exported, especially to the Far East, as it has a "cult" following there! A large number were used for racing, so ended up damaged and/or repaired several times. Custom high performance work on the engine & Exhaust, etc., can make these fantastic handling lightweight cars easily break into the 4 sec 0-60 territory & are very cheap to repair; plus 35mpg average! Although all this has a detrimental effect as a rare Classic Investment vehicle (literally)! So there may only be a few RHD left in UK?
